John Taylor

Craftsman John Taylor creates beautifully whimsical bowls, jewelry boxes and larger pieces entirely from hand-turned wood. His pieces evoke the rolling hills of the Grayson County farmland he grew up on. John was intrigued watching his father in his woodworking shop, learning the tips and tricks of the art of woodworking from him. He is a carpenter by trade and in his free time, enjoys turning bowls, making decorative boxes and other items.

John will be set up at Rolling Acres Farm with several members of his extended Grayson County family. His pieces are available for purchase in the Ag & Art Store at the Historic 1908 Courthouse in Independence.
