Troutdale Days – Aug. 10th & 11th – Parade on the 10th starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Troutdale Fire Dept. and makes a loop back to the fire station. Fun, Food, Activities and Music. Bar-B-Q, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, cole slaw, baked goods, ice cream. Live music by The Waterpeppers. Activities that include – skillet toss, rock ross, spin the wheel, cup punch, silly string fight, fishing booth, dunking booth – dunk the fire chief, 50/50 drawing, cake walk, toilet paper the chief, BINGO at 2:00 – many many prizes – some include 2 Appalachian State Football Game tickets, Soaky Mountain Waterpark tickets, Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner & Theater, 1 night stay at Sessions Hotel with tickets to Rhythm & Roots Festival and tickets to Birthplace of Country Music Museum, Wytheville Golf Club – free green fees, Barter Theater Tickets, 1 night stay at Francis Marion Hotel with tickets to the Lincoln Theater, tickets to Kaleideum museum. $ 1 a game; packet of 20 games for $ 20.00; Special Games are $ 5.00 each.
