Grayson Highlands State Park is home to two major attractions, Mt. Rogers, the highest peak in Virginia, and the Wild Ponies, a small herd of beautiful ponies that roam freely in the park. In addition to the gorgeous views, there’s numerous hiking and horseback riding trails, picnicking and camping areas, and a visitor’s center/museum. Plan your next vacation in the highlands today!
You can also get married at Virginia’s most visited state park. Grayson Highlands is the perfect venue for simple weddings in a natural setting. Most larger weddings take place at the Homestead area, a grassy field with a gentle steam and two historic log cabins as focal points, but weddings have taken place at various scenic places throughout the park. No matter where you choose to say your vows, the setting will be spectacular!
