Creeper Trail Campground is the best place to camp while riding the Virginia Creeper Trail.   We are located at the start of the trail in Whitetop, VA.  Riders can begin their ride directly from the campground and enjoy riding the entire trail to Abingdon, VA (34 miles) or to Damascus, VA (17 miles).  Shuttle services are available to return you and your bike to Whitetop.

We offer RV Sites with electric, water,  and some septic hookups.  We accommodate up to 35 foot RVs or 34 foot pull-behind campers (not including truck length).  We have primitive tent camping and several group tent camping sites.  Our bathhouse is newly renovated.

Creeper Trail Campground is a small campground in the mountains at 3534 ft elevation.  We are located on a former Christmas Tree farm.  Escape the heat and enjoy some of the most beautiful outdoor recreation sites in Virginia including hiking to see the wild ponies in the Grayson Highlands or visiting the two highest peaks in Virginia (Mt. Rogers 5728′ and Whitetop Mtn. 5518′).   The area offers excellent trout and fly-fishing streams.
